Calendar Desk Book

Join us every Monday at 6pm MDT for Tamra's live class!
The tutorials will be on our Facebook group - Scrapbookers of Country Craft Creations

Today's project is this beautiful Calendar desk book. These make awesome Christmas gifts!

Cutting Guide

Cardstock

6- 6 1/2 x 9

Then I double mat the pages. You can skip the double matting. It does take extra paper. If you are going to double mat like I am, I am using a solid cardstock for this step. You will need to cut

14 - 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 Yes that is 14  :)

Pattern paper for the plain mat

14 - 4 x 6

If you want to go ahead and put the 4 x 6 pattern paper on the plain mat, you will be ahead. Then set them aside.
You will also want a ribbon for the tie closure and print out the 2019 calendars. Depending on the size they are after you cut them, I then matted mine on plain cardstock. Even if the calendars were a little off in size, I cut the mats all the same size so they would be uniform.

You will need 3 sheets of 11x12 white cardstock. Scor all three pieces 1/2 inch along the 11 inch side, the whole sheet, all three of them. We will then cut our strips together live. You will also need a circle punch that is 1 1/2 in or bigger to put the rosettes together so you will need some white scraps to punch these, you will need 8 circles. Buttons from your stash and I used my cuttle bug bow die but you can also make a bow from a wide ribbon or tear strips of fabric for a scarf.
