Use the Right Glue

You must check out this website. If you still aren’t sure which glue to use, it’s often best to err on the side of caution as clean up from a fouled attempt can be time consuming, never mind that it can completely ruin your project. If you want quick guide for knowing how to glue one thing to another, you absolutely must check out http://www.thistothat.com/

For my projects I won't trust them to anything but Scor Tape!  That is why I sell it.  Scor-Tape is an amazing product! It is a premium double sided adhesive. It is acid free, heat resistant and an incredibly sticky tape. It is the perfect permanent adhesive for card making, boxes, books and Iris Folding. It can be used with ribbon, embossing powders, foils, beads, glitter, etc. Unlike other tapes, Scor-Tape is paper backed which means you can tear it with your thumb & finger. No need for scissors or a blade. All rolls are 27 yards long so they are exceptional value. We now carry sizes 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 1" & 1-1/2" sizes. See also the 6" x 6" sheets which are perfect for making die cuts which you can then glitter or emboss.

Hi Y'all ~

I am so excited to share with you my design team project for Country Craft Creations.  In this album I used Cartabella's "Homemade with Love", I must say I adore this paper line.  If you love the nostalgia of the 1950's you will really love this super cute retro-vintage paper line. It has a little shake of retro, a little rattle of country and the roll of shabby chic.  This album was super easy to make. In my video down below I give you page by page details on how my book was put together. I hope you enjoy and thank you for watching

Country Craft Creations Crazy Crafty Christmas...# 2

Good evening! I am so excited about this project using Graphic 45 Times Nouveau, and Toilet Paper Rolls! I know it sounds crazy, but it's true! Using black cardstock and Wasi I transformed a couple of boring, brown toilet paper rolls, into these beautiful small gift ornaments! Be sure to check out Country Craft Creations in Hooper, on Facebook for all the best quality and prices for your paper crafting needs!

25th & Pine ST. DT Project Share

Hi y’all, this is Kim Murray, here is my first blog design team project for Country Craft Creations.
I absolutely loved using “25th & Pine”.  Since I was born in the 70’s I have always loved the décor from that time period, Halloween and Christmas were my most favorite times of the year and some of the greatest memories ever.  So being so sentimental I just had to have this as my DT kit from CCC,  I was so excited when I got it.

How did I come up with this idea? Well, it wasn’t me lol. I am part of a crafting group on facebook called Craft That Diva’s.  Every Friday night we have a group challenge and ours was a mini explosion box. It didn’t take me long at all to seize the chance to use this as an opportunity to use my design team kits I had received, and also a chance to make an affordable gift for my daughters 4th grade teacher.

Below is my supply list from my design teams that I used and below the photos I will explain how I used these products to achieve my final design.

Supply List:
ScraPerfect Best glue ever : http://scraperfect.com/products-2/best-glue-ever/
ScraPerfect Perfect Crafting Pouch: http://scraperfect.com/products-2/perfect-crafting-pouch/
ScraPerfect Embellie Gellie: http://scraperfect.com/products-2/embellie-gellie/

ScraPerfect and CCC DT 022
1. I used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to put together this entire box , Cardstock and decorative paper.

2. I have found in the past that applying the stickers by themselves the seem to lift off the paper, so to solve this problem I apply a very small amount of ScraPerfect Best Glue EverScraPerfect and CCC DT 024 ScraPerfect and CCC DT 025 ScraPerfect and CCC DT 021

3. When embellishing the inside of the box, I applied  Best Glue Ever to the back of the stickers for the perfect adhesion and then applied the stickers to pre-cut chipboard, then applied Best Glue Ever again to attach them to the paper securely,  I did the same with the wood embellies and fabric embellies.

4.  I used the Embellie Gellie  to lift up my rhinestones and then applied small this strips of best glue ever.  Then using the embellie gellie stick I applied the rhinestones to the glue strip. One my most favorite things about best glue ever is that is dries clear and it is a very strong adhesive, also you only need a very minimal amount.

5. On this step I used ScraPerfect’s crafting pouch and lightly rubbed it down my tag and then around the edges used best glue ever and then applied my glitter. All I had to do was tap the excess glitter just slid off with ease, no fuss about having to take a brush to clean out the areas that I didn’t want the glitter.  Where can you find a product like that? Well, here it is! :)

I loved making this little mini explosion box, it was really easy and did not take hardly any time.  I must say that I use Tammy’s amazing papers, magnets and Scor-tape also and you may want to check out her site to find these gorgeous papers and lots of other crafting tools.
