Brenda's Design Team Project using Authentique Cuddle Girl Collection:
What a fun and beautiful collection this is! So easy to work with and create a fantastic keepsake for that sweet little girl. I will post a materials list at the bottom of the post so you too can make a beautiful album. This album is a top load and has a magnetic side closure with a pretty metal pull for easy opening. On the top of the album is a handmade momento box that is permanently attached. Adorned with ribbons, resin pink flowers and pretty die cuts it makes for the perfect place to store those treasured items such as the hospital bracelets from mom and baby, a lock of hair from the first haircut, other items you wish to save and all kept together safe and secure along with the album. There is a booklet there also, to record the items you have stored in the box.
A closer look at the top of the momento box and the sweet little booklet. The booklet has a magnetic closure adorned with a cute little pink resin flower. Inside is a bottom stop and a little matted file folder tag to record more details.
Open the magnetic closure and it reveals the full top load album inside. The inside top flap has a stationary handmade envelope with a pretty handmade card inside. The envelope is embellished with pretty pink seam binding ribbon and a 'slice' of an antique wooden childs block with a cute little frog embedded in it. The envelope is kept closed by tucking it down behind the triple matted sentiment cardstock sticker from the collection.
The card from inside the envelope. I love to include one of these in my albums..especially a baby one. I think this makes the perfect place to write a sweet note with all your hopes, dreams and wishes for the baby's future. Tuck it safely back in the envelope and out of sight to remain until that child is old enough to read it. Sweet idea right?
I have fussy cut the 12 month cut a parts and created three (3) waterfalls with them. Each waterfall consists of 4 months...1 - 4, 5 - 8 and 9 - 12. Two of them are held closed with pretty pink seam binding ribbons and the other one is held closed with a magnetic band adorned with another of the sweet pink resin flowers. Each of the months, can be flipped up and the milestones pertaining to that month can be recorded! How cool is that to have all those moments recorded all in one place to keep them all together along with so many photos and journaling! Every page has a side load pocket with a thumb pull and a large matted tag with pretty scalloped pulls.
More pages from the album.....again, on this particular one, I used some number 'slices' off of some of the antique wooden blocks. They are on color coordinated matted flaps that can be raised and notes or photos placed there. All the pages in the album are inter-active and have many flips, flaps, mats and tags to hold several precious photos of that sweet little one.
More and more of the pages from this sweet album. Plenty of space provided in this creation, it will surely hold all those photos of that first year, not to mention several momentos you will treasure.
