Photo Folio by Brenda Crouch

Today I am sharing my Design Team Project using the adorable Jack & Jill Collection. I decided to use the rest of the collection (since this is my second DT project using this collection), making a Photo Folio. This sleek folio has plenty of space for pictures and journaling and was a quick and easy creation to make. I will post the materials list at the end of the pictures. This collection is available here at Country Craft Creations.

This is the cover. Yes, it is interactive also....I LOVE interactive as all of my creations always have plenty.

The inside has a pocket which houses a large tag, a small booklet and a small tag with a journaling spot. The opposite page has the fabulous waterfall that will hold pictures and journaling.

Materials:
*Jack & Jill Collection
*Medium Weight Chipboard
*Scor-tape 1/4" & 3/8"
*Quick Dry Glue (available from Country Craft Creations)
*Black Seam binding
*Tim Holtz Distress Ink Black Soot
*Gold Star Brads

     Hello my fellow crafters,
I am excited to show my finished album from my Design Team package from Tammy's Store.
This collection of papers is stunning!! The graphics are vibrant and colorful and if you are a paper hoarder like I am it was almost impossible to use them.  But fear not my crafty peeps! Once you break into this collection you will LOVE IT!!! I just can't stop staring at it :)  This is a wonderful gift for anyone who owns a cat or dog, both or someone who is going to buy a puppy.  They or yourself will surely treasure this cute and adorable paper line. If you would like to purchase this paper here is the link to Tammy's store and the paper line itself:
This link is for the 12x12 but you can contact her and she will order the kit for you.  She lives very close to the warehouse so it won't take but a day or two for her to get it on its way to you:)
I have a tutorial available to you below if you would like to follow along on Youtube and the links are below or if you want to take a sneak peek at the final album I will have that link first.

My craft for today is another Country Craft Creations Design Team Project. I continued with Echo Park's "Times and Seasons 2".  This is a special gift for my husband as a daily reminder he is loved...
I hope you enjoy my "mosaic masterpiece" lol. I had so much fun creating the "faux" mosaic look, I used homemade texture paste (there are several good recipes on YouTube.) and spray colors to create the "grout". Each of the pictures used as the tiles are fussy cut and strengthened with "Diamond Glaze", or stickers that are part of the fabulous paper collection. Thank you Tamra for the opportunity to create! Enjoy!

Graphic 45 Time to Flourish Boxed Calendar DT project by Brenda Crouch

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share this DT project with you all, as I truly love how it turned out. Materials used will follow the pictures. This Graphic 45 Time to Flourish had to be one of the most versatile collections so far. I am so impressed with the many ways it can be used and again the quality is top of the line bar none!! The perfect weight of the papers and the graphics and coloring are just stunning. I decided to utilize the calendar idea so I could use the many pieces available in this collection....and believe me, I used a ton of them!  :-)

This first picture shows the hand made box I created from medium weight chipboard then embellished. I tripled the chipboard for the base and the lid to give it extra strength to insure a long lasting piece. A transparent ribbon and sparkled butterfly embellish the front and the antique looking handle will allow the calendar to be pulled out as it all attached to that lid.

The inside is also papered. I used a different paper to cover the box inside and out as I used all my Graphic 45 papers to make the super calendar pages. The calendar pages are all created like a file folder with an 1/8" gusset on the bottom and magnet closures on each folder. All the calendar pages have huge side pullout tags that are also heavily embellished and interactive. This is a substantial piece and holds TONS!! Above is the start of January.

Inside January with the opened page/folder. All pages have a full sized calendar with generous sized boxes you can write in. Calendars are all embellished. All pages are also embellished with interactives and hold many tags that can be used as photo mats or journaling places. The folders can hold pictures, bills, momentos or whatever your heart desires and once closed with the magnet, are kept safely and securely in place.
