I absolutely love Graphic 45's Mother Goose collection. I was so excited to have the chance to create with this beautiful and fun paper for Country Craft Creations DT January Challenge!
This paper has endless possibilities, so you can be sure I will be sharing many projects this month.
My first project was a "Double Paper Bag' not so mini, mini album. With so many pockets in this album, I was able to make some beautiful tags. The cover was SO much fun. Fussy cutting out several characters to focus on, and using lots of texture draws you eyes to the bold, beautiful details in the paper.  I hope you are inspired to create with this beautifully detailed Graphic 45 Mother Goose paper. For the best prices, service and quality look no further than Country Craft Creations!  Don't forget to stop by often to see the additional projects I am currently working on for January.
Ready....Set...Here you go!

Valentine/Love Explosion Box DT by Brenda Crouch

My kit this month included the Bo Bunny 'Isabella' collection;  perfect for creating a soft, sweet project just right for this time of the year. I made an Explosion Box that houses a cute little surprise inside.

The little heart inside holds some chocolate candies. Gotta' have chocolates around Valentines Day.

On the lid, I added some black lacey ribbon, along with some tags and a cupid heart charm.

Inside, I've made sure to incorporate lots of interactives so there is ample space in this small box to include pictures and/or journaling. You will of course also find a waterfall on one of the flaps... have to have a waterfall somewhere on my projects if at all possible.  :-)

I hope you enjoy this project, and have listed below the supplies I used to create it. All papers are the Isabella Collection, and I've also used some of the cut aparts and embellishments from that collection on this sweet box.

DIY Shabby Chic Corset Album Design Team Project Share by ~ Kim Murray

     Hi Y'all,
This week I wanted to share with you some wonderful papers and stickers I got for my design team package from Tammy.  I received 24 sheets of 12x12 decorated sheets, 1 12x12 sheet of coordinating stickers and she also gave me a adorable journal that goes with Bo Bunny's "Gabrielle", collection and a package of G45 Mini Bubble tags.  These papers are so beautiful with lots of abilities to make different projects featuring different Genres.
My sister is getting married soon and I have been brainstorming trying to come up with ideas of what I could give her as a Bridal Shower gift, so I thought that with my chipboard corset album, assortment of paper flowers, chipboard and wooden embellies, some ephemera from my collection and my gorgeous papers from Tammy's store I was ready to go.
I began by painting all the chipboard pages with a coat of gesso, I traced the images on to different pages of the decorated papers and then tried to match them up by color page to page so that your eyes could flow easily from page to page.
I then glued the papers to the chipboard pages in order and then used some matching distress inks around the edges to give the side of the pages to make the pages pop a little.
After this point I began to play with all my flower and other embellies and glued them to the pages. Then I distressed all my painted my tags on the larger ones I used the scraps of paper I had left from the pages I cut the corset from, stamped them and added some seam binding ribbons to them and with my paper ephemera I distressed them with Tim Holtz paper distresser to give it that "old torn" look and then used coordinating distress inks on the sides.
Finally I glued on my wood embellies and flowers, used my memory keeper hole/eyelet punch and added them to the left hand corner of each page, threaded some stretchy string and then tied on a variety of seam binding ribbons.  For the last touches, I added a tag I made from the G45 Mini Bubble tags that I really embellished a lot, lol and then added that on with a wooden clothes pin, but I felt there was still something missing, so I added on some beads from an old broken necklace.
I hope you will love this as much as I do, I am going to have this for sale on eBay, as I found out the colors of her wedding were dark purple and orange, oops, lol. Her loss but your gain:)
Thank you so much I truly love what I do and I hope you like it too, if you have any questions or comments please put them in the comment box below. I hope y'all have a fabulous crafty week. Muahhhh!! XOXO ~ Kimmy

New Year Garland DT Project Alisha Martin

Hello Everyone! and Happy New Year!
So since the holiday season that just passed was my son's first, I made the decision to limit my social media interactions, take a mini blog break, and really just enjoy all the special moments. It was amazing but, WE HAVE SOME CATCHING UP TO DO!!!! lol

But first things first, can we talk about how amazing is the new Bo Bunny Serenity paper collection?!?
CountryCraftCreations was awesome enough to send me the papers AND embellishments for some design team fun. So my theme for this month will be Chinese New Year.

My first project for the month is a fun garland as I love to decorate my house for any and every ocassion. Remember the Paper Taxidermy Garland? I finally just took that down lol. Well this one is several take out box paper lanterns that glow with some fun little fortune cookies in between.
So I found a great Chinese Take Out Box Template online and traced them onto the Serenity paper (my silhouette is still down otherwise I would have used it to cut the boxes). After folding, I punched holes to make sure the light would show once I placed the light source in the paper lantern. Next, I used my Scortape to hold all the folded pieces together.

For the fortune cookies I cut a bunch of larger circles out of the paper. Gently fold in half and push the paper backwards and the cookie almost makes itself.
To add a little more to the project, I painted some wooden balls gold and used some dark red craft wire to string up the lanterns and fortune cookies. I also added a little Chinese money bling under each lantern.

I used some black twine to string it all together.

I am so excited for all the amazing things in 2015. Thanks again to Country Craft Creations for supplying almost everything I needed to complete this really fun project.

XOXO,
Lish

Supplies:
Bo Bunny Serenity Paper Collection
Scortape
7 Gypsies Black Twine
Dark Red Craft Wire (purchased at Michaels)
Chinese Currency (gift)

Exploding Mini Album by Brenda Crouch

Hello everyone, today I am pleased to share my Design Team project for Country Craft Creations. I made this exploding mini album using Bo Bunnys Isabella Collection, which is available here at Country Craft Creations. Lots of soft colors and patterns make this a smooth flowing delicate and feminine collection, perfect if you are looking to make something pretty.

I added some embellishments although the designs in this collection are pretty enough to leave unaltered. I also added handles on the sides of the lid to remove easily. This box is substantial and carries some weight as well, it is quite full with plenty of space for pictures and even memorabilia.

This box opens to expose a mini album in the center housing tags and mats, on the inner left flap you will find an expanding file which includes nice size tabbed tags in each pocket. There is still plenty of space to add tons more pictures, cards or other keepsakes.  The right flap under the mini album, houses another of the expanding files, super storage. The narrow front flap is showing my favorite 'waterfall'. I always try to include a waterfall in my projects and this was no exception. The back narrow flap holds a belly band with a tri-fold booklet. I used this paper collection everywhere and made sure everything 'flowed' throughout.

Materials:

Bo Bunny Isabella Collection
Basic Grey Magnets
Scortape
Scotch Quick Dry Glue
Grey Cardstock
Tim Holtz Bronze Handles
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Black Soot
Recollections Black bling
Black/Pink Polka Dot Flower from my stash

Here is a link to the youtube video for this project which shows lots of detail. Feel free to leave comments. Thanks for stopping by, and hope you stop in often.
